I know, the two above don’t go together. Something is either apart, or together; I get it. Then, why is it that some people still think that this can work? You’re either together, or you’re not. There’s no in between, no gray area…
I come from a family that suffers a genetic disease, that I hope I have not contracted inherently within myself. It is like a cancer that grows within us, and if we’re not born with it, we have no problem in making sure that we pass it on. Not on purpose, of course, but inherently; how they walk the walk, and talk the talk. It is such a terrible sickness, that I believe if not kept in check, will be the downfall of all mankind (Yes, I do think it’s that bad!)…
The sickness of which I speak, is, yep, division and togetherness! You’re still confused? Ok, how about, ignorance? Deep-seated hatred, or is it deep-seated self-loathing? I for one, saw it early on in my life for what it is. I sincerely had hope for my generation of cousins and their burgeoning families, but alas, I guess I’m just a hopeless dreamer. It’s like we walk around blindly, believing whatever our elders thought we’re right, without looking out for yourself in that respect. We are the living examples of our parents, and it seems that we can’t get over the cloud of contention and divisiveness, and live forever trying to convince others that you’re right; no questions asked…
And the biggest sickness of all… HYPOCRISY! How can you say you love God, you live for him, and you’re his example here on Earth, and still behave the way you do? And pass that ignorance that you display along to your children? How can you be so cancerous and evil in the way that you behave, and claim that you have the love of God in you? I guess you can get away with it, because long gone are the days where the judgement bolt would split your head in two for defiling HIS name in whatever you do. If that’s what it is to be a Christian, I’m sold! (NOT!!!)…
“As for me and my house, “, my family and I, and thus my children, will know better. Please come together and get along already! Life is too bloody short!
